Looking for great fall color? Here is a quick, easy way to make your landscape stand out. Try planting a grouping of Henry's Garnet Itea. These low maintenance landscaping shrubs are well suited for our Northern KY climate and in the fall their bright red foliage really pops.

Growth habit is erect and spreading, branched out near the top, colony forming. Height 3 to 5 feet, occasionally to 10 feet tall. Spread is wider. Summer foliage is dark green, with spectacular reds and purples in the fall. Mildly fragrant, small, white flowers appear in early to mid summer on 2 to 6 inch long, upright racemes, quite abundantly flowering. Full sun or shade, soil adaptable, somewhat drought tolerant and not bothered by pests. A good native plant with fragrant flowers, good for naturalizing in moist areas of the garden.

Tree Sale Hebron KY

Inventory liquidation going on now at Showplace Garden Center... save nearly 50%! We are overstocked on Bradford Pears and they gotta go. These are large trees stretching 12 feet tall, and are conveniently grown in lightweight pots so they are easy to transport and plant.

Now through Saturday June 19th these trees are reduced from $95 to just $49! At this price you can afford to plant a few in the front or back yard, or even line the drive.

Bradford Pears are a deciduous tree with alternate, simple ovate leaves approximatly 3 inches long and 2 inches wide. The bark is usually light gray. Clusters of white flowers appear before leaves in April to May. Round, small, olive-brown fruits appear from May to July. These are beautiful trees that are very popular in the Northern Kentucky area.

Be Ready for Spring! Here's How!

Make a plan of your garden layout. Decide if you want to keep everything where it is currently located or does it need to move to another location.
Think about what new plants you would like to add. Come in and talk to someone if you're not sure what plants would be good for that particular area. We'd be happy to help!
Get your tools sharpened and ready for another years use. We've partnered with www.kysharp.com for all your sharpening needs. Buy new tools if necessary.
Purchase new potting soil for all your planters. Dispose of your old potting soil in your compost pile or vegetable garden.
Trim back any dead or broken branches on shrubs and trees.
